April Tuition Due and Annual Re-Registration

Please make sure to stop by the front office to drop off your family’s tuition payment for the month of April.

We are conducting our Annual Re-registration between April 1st and April 15th ( form included in this newsletter). The fee for this process is $125 for each child, due April 15th, by doing so it will guarantee you a seat for the new academic school year.

Please make sure to let us know your plan for the summer as well and complete the “child withdraw form” attached to this newsletter if you are not going to attend school this summer. This will help us to have an accurate count of children who plan on attending the summer program. Thank you for your participation.

Picture Day – Tuesday, April 5th

Mark your calendar!Teddy Bear Portraits will be at our school Thursday,April 5th and the photographer will be ready by 7:30am. Be sure to coordinate any changes of clothes with your teachers ahead of time. Siblings are welcome to have their pictures taken as well and if your child does not come to school on Thursdays, please make arrangement so your child can have his/her picture taken with his/her friends and teachers. It would also be great to have some volunteers that day! Thanks in advance.

French Cultures Festival – Mois de la Francophonie

Throughout themonth of March, in Houston, the French consulate and French organizations, restaurants,schools are going to create series of events.

As last year wewill celebrate it during the third week of March. Each classroom will focus on a particularregion / country and the students will do manual activities every day and theirworks will be exhibited in each classroom. On Friday, March 23rd,students will then go to each classroom with a “passport” where they will learnand discover what their comrades learned and created. We will really appreciateif you could part of this celebration by lending objects, clothes, artifacts …from your native country.

In addition, itwould be great if you could bring a traditional dish from your country onFriday, March 23rd and have lunch with your child in his/herclassroom.

Attendance and absences

Classes start daily between 8:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Please do your best to be on time as Miss Natasha is not always in thefront office starting at 9:00am. We donot want your child to miss valuable morning ritual or activity. Moreover, we want your child to acquire goodhabits at an early age and if your child is sick, or you do not plan to come,please give a quick call or send us an email. Thank you.

Go Texan Day

We are a unique French school located in Texas and we would like to introduce a Texas tradition and build an awareness of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to our students. A mobile Petting Zoo will be at our school Friday, February 24th from 9:30 to 11:30. So let’s turn back the clock to the era of the Old West and let your children come to the school dressed in Western attire. Yeeehaaa !
