I am so grateful to La Maternelle. I was searching everywhere for a language immersion program for my daughter, ideally French. Children pick up languages so easily at this age that I felt it would be irresponsible not to give her this most precious gift. I wish I had discovered the school earlier. Thank you so much La Maternelle for teaching my daughter French and for providing her with an outstanding preschool education!

We would like to thank you and La Maternelle family for helping Landon with his journey of becoming multi-lingual. Landon is learning so much, not only language, but many social skills as well. We have seen so much growth in him and we are so lucky to have found your school and for Landon to have been a student there.

Thank you very much for your effort in order to make La Maternelle a great place to be for our children. Since ever we brought our daughter Eva for the first time we feel that it's the right place for her to be. Her great teachers Ms. Mayumi and Ms. Naima make us feel so welcome and make us strongly believe that our little one will get a great care, personal attention and love. Since there only 9 kids for 2 teachers ratio each of them gets a lots of individual approach and attention. Our daughter loves to go every day to La Maternelle and always happy to be there. She feels secure and loved because of all the personal attention she gets from her teachers. This school has a great future.

I would like to support the efforts made by the teachers at La Maternelle. Since my daughter has attended this school, she has progressed in every aspect of her development. Every day, we see how she uses what she learns. The atmosphere created by the teachers is evidence of their mutual efforts. Also the children are very comfortable expressing themselves without hesitation. It’s obvious that the teachers at La Maternelle love the children and want to educate them. What I appreciate the most is the knowledge shared by the teachers that allow my child to grow without pressure while still respecting her natural curiosity.

In 2008 when my daughter 2 at the time entered La Maternelle we were questioning wether or not would this be a good option for her and her future. We are non native speakers of the language and just wasn’t sure how the out come would be.
Now our daughter who will be 6 in June is trilingual in Spanish, English, and French. We keep it up with a French tutor that comes to our home 2 hours a week.
We have been very satisfied with the outcome and everything our daughter has gotten from the La Maternelle.
La Maternell gives children of all age and back ground to expand and broad their horizon. We have now enrolled our son who is 19 moths to become proficient in all 3 languages. I would recommend La Maternelle to anyone who asks. It is a wonderful school and have great teachers.Karen Goicoechea
Someone wrote that “A teacher can change a student into an educated soul and an educated soul can help change the world.” The common belief is that the path to this educated soul starts after the age of six; but in reality it starts much, much earlier.
The path starts with the small, tiny steps of a tender age at the pre-school level. A child arrives to pre-school like a mystery box. He arrives and encounters the most important person next to mother and father. This person is the teacher. With kindness and gentleness, with an open heart, the teacher will carefully start opening this mysterious box. Tenderly, lightly, protectively, the teacher will start fashioning a work of splendor. Gradually, the teacher will cajole the child into opening up and seeing the greatness he and she have within. Steadily and patiently, the teacher will help the child to start realizing the joys of learning and discovering, of thinking and creating.
On behalf of my little angel Deya, on behalf of my family, I humbly thank La Maternelle for the stupendous work they achieved with Deya. I would like to thank Deya’s guiding angels chronologically, Miss Houda El Majid, Miss Raouida Senouci-Bereski, Miss Stephanie Le Petit and all their gentle assistants. Deya has surprised, delighted and enchanted many French schools in the nation with the scope and depth of her knowledge and personality. I bow my head in admiration to you all for your abilities and kindness.
I would like to thank Ms. Line Brou for the courage she had to establish this institution. I would also like to thank Mr. Derick Deaton who had the vision in accepting the challenge and acquiring the French pre-school. Mr. Deaton with diligence, consciousness and the imaginative and creative hand of Miss Charlotte Bidard, La Directrice of La Maternelle French Academy, they both have succeeded in creating a much more exciting, vibrant and challenging environment for the little angels. I bow my head in gratitude and appreciation to you all.
There is an Arab proverb that says “you owe eternal gratitude to the persons who taught you even one word.” Thank you for all the words and everything else… teachers.Hussein Kabil
La Maternelle is an amazing school. From the director, teachers and staff, everybody is awesome and there is a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to its small size, it's easy to know other families and the teachers. The curriculum is excellent: our 3 year old daughter is now perfectly bilingual and has an amazing French vocabulary. As parents, we are seeing her blossom and learn so much on a daily basis in a happy and safe environment. We are so thankful to have found this school!
